Abstract
This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
In particular, it defines objects for managing remote network
monitoring devices.
This memo obsoletes RFC 1757. This memo extends that specification by
documenting the RMON MIB in SMIv2 format while remaining semantically
identical to the existing SMIv1-based MIB.
