Marquess of Montague : But I have reasons strong and forcible.

Messenger : The queen with all the northern earls and lords [p]Intend here to
besiege you in your castle: [p]She is hard by with twenty thousand
men; [p]And therefore fortify your hold, my lord.

Marquess of Montague : Brother, I go; I'll win them, fear it not: [p]And thus most humbly I
do take my leave. [p][Exit] [p][Enter JOHN MORTIMER and HUGH
MORTIMER] [p]Sir John and Sir Hugh Mortimer, mine uncles, [p]You are
come to Sandal in a happy hour; [p]The army of the queen mean to
besiege us.

Sir John Mortimer : She shall not need; we'll meet her in the field.
