Chicken fricot
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 5 lb chicken cubed
- 1/4 lb Salt pork
- 2 md Onions diced
- 1/2 ts Oregano Salt Pepper
- 1 c Cold Water
- 4 md Potatoes diced
- 1/4 c Flour
- 2 md Carrots diced (optional)
- 8 c Boiling water
Instructions:
Cube salt pork and cut chicken into cubes.Fry pork until golden set aside. Add chicken and fry until brown.Put everything into a large pot and cook until meat is tender.Blend flour and cold water and add to the fricot to thicken it.Summer savory may be also added for extra flavour.
