Mississippi fried oysters

Ingredients:
- 2 Eggs -- beaten
- 2 c Cornmeal
- 1 ts Sugar
- 2 ts Salt
- 1 ts Pepper
- 2 tb Flour
Instructions:
Drain oysters and soak in eggs. Mix cornmeal sugar salt pepper and flour. Dip oysters in cornmeal mixture and fry in deep shortening until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Recipe By : Southern Sideboards
