Key lime pie (cheesecake)
Yield: 1 Pie MMMMM---
Ingredients:
- 2 c Graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tb Sugar
- 1/2 c (1 stick) butter [melted & cooled] MMMMM----------------------FOR THE FILLING---------------------------
- 8 oz Cream cheese [softened]
- 15 oz Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 c Key lime juice
- 1/8 ts Lime oil (optional but good]
- 1 c Sour cream To prepare the crust...
- 1) Combine all of the crust ingredients and press into a 9" pie pan or spring form pan. Bake @
- 350o for about 20 min. or `til nicely golden brown then set aside to cool... To make the filling...
- 2) In a medium size bowl
Instructions:
thoroughly mix together the cream cheese and the milk then blend in the Key lime juice and lime oil (if used)... 3) Beat in the sour cream and mix `til smooth pour into the prepared crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving...
