Refried beans with cheese
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/4 c Vegetable oil
- 1 ea Garlic clove minced
- 2 c Cooked pinto beans or
- 1 ea (16 oz.) can drained
- 1 ea Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 ts Chili powder
- 1 x Salt
- 1 x Freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 c Shredded cheddar che
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large skillet add the onion garlic and chili powder saute over low heat until the onion is transparent. Add the beans by th and mash into a paste until all are used. Mix well. Add salt and peppe taste and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Serve as a side dish.
