Pat's seafood stock
Yield: 2 quarts
Ingredients:
- 2 qt Water Fresh shrimp heads and/or
- 6 Celery stalks cut into Shells lobster heads and
- 2 inch pieces Or shells fresh fish bones.
- 2 md Onions peeled and quartered Use ingredients singly or in
- 2 Garlic cloves Combination.
- 1/2 Lemon
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in large sauce pan or stockpot and bring to rapid boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer slowly 2 to 8 hours depending on strength of flavor desired. Strain before using.
