Mr. food's lovin' onions

Ingredients:
- 1 tb Butter
- 7 md Sweet onions coarsely - chopped (about 7 cups)
- 1/2 c Self-rising flour
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Black pepper
- 1 1/4 c (5 (5 ounces) shredded - Cheddar cheese divided
- 1 1/4 c (5 ounces) shredded - Monterey Jack cheese - divided
- 1 tb Chopped bottled or canned
Instructions:
- jalapeno peppers drained ======================================================= ============== ==== == Preheat the oven to 350F. in a large skillet melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onions and saute for about l C minutes until softened. Meanwhile in a medium-sized bowl combine the flour salt and pepper. add 1 cup of each cheese: mix well. Ad NOTE: If you're serving these right from the casserole dish on the kitchen or dining room table. be sure to use a trivet.
