Warm spinach with spicy dressing (tdn-9/22/93
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 4 c Fresh spinach leaves
- 1 tb Olive oil
- 1 ts Hot pepper sauce or to taste
- 1 tb Mild white vinegar
- 1 ts Reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Clove garlic finely minced
- 1/2 ts Finely minced fresh ginger
- 1 tb Minced fresh chives
Instructions:
Rinse the spinach well under running water. Then put the still-wet leaves into a 4 cup measure and cover. Microwave on full power until the spinachis just beginning to wold and soften about 2 inutes. Meanwhile combine the oil hot pepper sauce vinegar soy sauce garlic ginger and honey in a small bowl and whisk until well mixed. Pat the spinach dry and tip into a medium bowl.
