Sweet onion quiche

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

• 1 Pie crust unbaked
• 1/4 c Evaporated milk
• 3/4 c Onions chopped
• 3 Eggs
• 1/2 c Ham diced
• 1/2 c Sour cream
• 3 tb Butter
• 1/2 c Crumbled bacon
• 1 1/2 c Mild American cheese grated
• 1 c Swiss cheese grated
• 1 c Caraway seed cheese

Instructions:

grated Melt butter in skillet; saute onions and ham until done. Place in bottom of unbaked pie crust. Mix cheese milk eggs and sour cream and pour over onion and ham mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; garnish with crumbled bacon. Source: Rock Springs Sweet Onion Festival Cook Book 1992
