Pasta sauce
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cn Low-sod. tomato puree (15oz)
- 1 cn Low-sod. tomato sauce (15oz)
- 1 cn Tomato paste/no salt (6 oz.) Ground red pepper to taste
- 1/8 ts Nutmeg
- 1/2 ts Basil
- 1 ts Parsley flakes
- 3 Cloves garlic minced
- 1 ts Black pepper
- 2 Shallots minced
- 1/2 c White wine
Instructions:
Put all of the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 15-20 minutes. Add the red pepper last to taste. Serve over pasta.
