Yield: 30 Squares
Ingredients:
- 1/3 c All-purpose flour
- 1 ts Baking powder
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/2 ts Pepper
- 1/4 ts Nutmeg
- 2 Eggs
- 1 c Milk
- 1 tb Butter melted
- 2 c Cheddar cheese shredded
- 2/3 lb Spinach frozen chopped -thawed (300 g)
- 1/4 c Sweet red pepper fine chop
- 1 Green onion
Instructions:
chopped In large bowl stir together flour baking powder salt pepper and nutmeg. In separate bowl whisk eggs; whisk in milk and butter. Stir in cheese spinach red pepper and onion. Pour over flour mixture; stir just until combined. Pour into greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Bake in 350F 180C oven for about 30 minutes or until set. Let cook for 10 minutes; slice into squares. For easy family supper cut them into larger squares and serve with vegetables and a dip and thick slices of Italian bread.
