Pinata cookies
Yield: 36 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 c Butter
- 1/2 c Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1 3/4 c Flour
Instructions:
Small gumdrops or malt -balls Icing In a large mixer bowl beat butter 30 seconds. Add sugar beat till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add flour beating till well mixed. Cover and chill 1 hour. Shape 1 level tablespoon of dough around a candy to form a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes till edges are golden. Cool on wire rack. Drizzle with icing: 1/2 c sifted powdered sugar & 1/8 tsp vanilla & 1 1/2 tsp to 1 T milk.
