Meatballs to serve with spaghetti sauce
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 lb Ground beef
- 1/4 lb Ground pork
- 1 c Fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c Grated parmesan cheese
- 1 Sprig parsley chopped or
- 1 Tbls parsley flakes
- 1 cl Garlic minced
- 1/2 c Milk
- 2 Well-beaten eggs
Instructions:
Salt and pepper Combine meats crumbs cheese parsley garlic milk eggs and seasonings; mix throughly. Form into small balls; brown in hot fat. Add to sauce and cook over low heat 15 minutes. Serve over spaghetti. From Better Homes and Gardens New CookBook circa 1957 Typos by Bobbie Beers
