Lemon chess pie #1
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 Unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 2 c Sugar
- 1/2 c Butter or margarine
- 5 Eggs
- 1 c Milk
- 1 tb Flour
- 1 tb Cornmeal
- 1/4 c Fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
Rind of 3 lemons grated Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and milk. Beat well. Then add flour cornmeal lemon juice and lemon rind. Stir until thoroughly incorporated Pour mixture into pie shell; bake at 350 degrees until done 35 to 40 minutes.
