Salsa alla marinara (mariner's sauce)
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3 tb Garlic cloves minced
- 1/4 c Minced parsley
- 1/2 c Olive oil
- 2 c Chopped peeled tomatoes
- 1 ts Crumbled
Instructions:
dried oregano Salt and pepper to taste Saute garlic and parsley in oil. When garlic is delicately brown add tomatoes oregano salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes or until well-blended and thick. Makes about 1 1/2 cups. Source: Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery.
