Quick white sauce
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 2 tb Butter
- 2 tb Flour
- 1 c Milk or half & half MMMMM------------------EXTRAS FOR ADDED FLAVOR----------------------- Nutmeg
- 2 tb Chopped parsley
- 2 tb Chopped chives
- 1 ts Lemon juice
Instructions:
In a one quart sauce pan over low heat melt butter. Add flour and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until well blended. Stir in milk slowly; cook stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. Add one or more of the extras to alter the taste. Serve over vegetables or fish.
