Garlic pesto sauce
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 c Chicken broth (low fat)
- 1/2 c Basil leaves (fresh - -loosely packed)
- 3 Garlic cloves peeled
- 4 tb Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tb Olive oil
Instructions:
Salt & pepper to taste Heat broth to boiling. Combine ingredients in blender or food processor; process until basil and garlic are minced. (Or by hand use a mortar and pestle: Mash basil and garlic together then mix with remaining ingredients.) Recipe from Slim Gourmet p.reynolds - genie
