Tomato pie
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 9" pie shell
- 4 lg Tomatoes peeled sliced
- 1/2 ts Dried basil Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 c Mayonnaise
- 1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Partly bake pie shell at 350 deg f. Into partly baked shell add tomatoes salt pepper and basil. In a small bowl combine mayo and cheese. Spread this mixture over tomato. Bake pie at 350 deg f for 30 minutes. Good when served as a side dish or as a light main course with a garden salad.
