Oyster-mushroom dressing
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 2 c Rice cooked
- 1/2 c Butter
- 1 Onion med chopped
- 1 c Celery chopped
- 1 Bell pepper chopped
- 1 Garlic clove crushed
- 4 c Oysters
- 5 Mushrooms fresh sliced Giblets cooked & chopped
- 1/2 c Parsley chopped
- 1/2 c Shallots
Instructions:
chopped Salt & pepper to taste Hot sauce to taste Melt butter and add onions celery bell pepper garlic and mushrooms. Saute until soft; add oysters and giblets. Simmer slowly. Add parsley and shallots. Season to taste and mix thoroughly with hot cooked rice. If too dry add oyster liquor. Stuff chicken duck turkey goose or large fish. Cook giblets in oyster liquor to increase succulent taste. Recipe date: 12/10/87
