Orange rice
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c Brown basmati rise; 6 Whole cloves;
- 1 c To 1 1/2 cs water; 1/4 ts Ground ginger;
- 2/3 c Orange juice; 1 tb Golden raisins;
- 1 Cinnamon stick;
Instructions:
Soak rice for 30 minutes to 2 hours before cooking; drain. In a medium-size saucepan combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Add drained rice. Cook partially covered until liquid is absorbed about 15 minutes. Remover cloves abd cinnamon stick. Fluff with a fork and serve.
