- 1/2 lb Onion; thinly sliced(about 2
- 2 tb Butter
- 8 ea Eggs
- 1 c Dry white wine
- 2/3 c Heavy cream
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- 1/8 ts Nutmeg
- 1/2 lb Grated Gruyere cheese; (abou
- 1- ea 9"pie crust Saute in butter till soft
Instructions:
remove from heat & set aside. Combine eggs wine cream salt pepper & nutmeg. Spread 1 cup of cheese on bottom of pastry shell cover with onions and top with remaining cheese.
