Never fail fudge
Yield: 12 Servings
Ingredients:
- 5 c Sugar
- 12 oz Evaporated Milk; 1 can
- 1/4 lb Butter Or Regular Margarine
- 12 oz Marshmallow Creme Or Fluff;*
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1 c Whole Walnut Meats
- 24 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
* The original recipe calls for Marshmallow Fluff but you may only be able to find the Creme in your area. It should work. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++ Combine the first five ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until blended. Bring to a boil over moderate heat being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. The BOIL SLOWLY stirring constantly for 5 MINUTES. To the soft ball stage. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla and nuts if used. Stir until the chips are melted. Pour into 2 buttered 9 X 9-inch pans and let cool.
