Liverburgers
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Liver
- 2 c Potatoes diced raw
- 1 c Onions chopped
- 1 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- 2 tb Fat or oil
- 3 tb Tomato paste
- 1 tb Flour
- 1 1/2 c Milk
- 1/2 c Light cream
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
Instructions:
Put liver potatoes and onion through food chopper twice. Add 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp pepper. Drop liver by spoonfulls into hot fat in skillet. Fry quickly. Remove Burgers from pan. For gravy blend tomato paste and flour into drippings in pan. Add milk cream 1 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Add Liverburgers; simmer covered 15 minutes.
