Golden corn fritters
Yield: 3 Dozen
Ingredients:
- 1 c Flour self-rising
- 1 ts Sugar
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/2 ts Pepper
- 2 Eggs; beaten
- 1 1/2 c Corn fresh; cut from cob -about 3 ears
- 1/2 c Milk
- 2 ts Oil
Instructions:
vegetable Oil vegetable; hot Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well and set aside. Combine eggs corn milk and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil; mix well. Stir corn mixture into dry ingredients. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls into vegetable oil heated to 375 degrees; cook fritters until golden turning once.
