Best stewed tomatoes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 c Canned undrained tomatoes; 1 tb Onion flakes; minced -cut into chunks 1/2 ts Salt; to taste
- 1/2 c Celery; minced 2 ts Margarine;
- 1/2 ts Dried oregano; 2 ts Sugar; or sugar sub
- 1/4 ts Dried basil; 1 ds Pepper;
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until celery is tender about 10 minutes. Stir frquently while cooking. Per serving: 2g protein 2g fat 9g carb. 544mg sodium 0mg chol. 68 calories.
