Onion marmalade ii
Yield: 1 Cup
Ingredients:
- 4 Red onions (~1.5 lb)
- 2 tb Butter
- 2 tb Red wine vinegar
- 2 tb Honey
Instructions:
Cut onions crosswise in half those into quarters those into cubes. Heat butter in a heavy saucepan add onions cover cook medium high ~15 min until they start to brown stirring occasionally. Uncover add vinegar cook briefly until almost evaporated then stir in honey. Cover tightly cook 10 min.
