Curry crackers
Yield: 90 Crackers
Ingredients:
- 3 tb Margarine
- 1 1/2 tb Onion minced finely
- 1 ts Garlic pressed
- 3/4 ts Grated ginger
- 1 1/2 ts Cumin
- 1 1/2 ts Coriander
- 1 1/2 ts Turmeric
- 1/2 ts Cayenne
- 2 c All purpose flour
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/2 c Water
Instructions:
approximately Preheat oven to 325F. Melt margarine in a small frying pan. Add onion garlic & ginger & saute until the onion is translucent. Add spices & stir fry for 1 minute. In a large bowl combine flour & salt. Add spice mixture & blend well. Slowly add as much water as is needed to make a dough. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions & roll out to 1/16" thickness. Cut into 2" shapes & prick with a fork. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until crisp. Cool on wire racks. Serve with dips. Foust & Husch Crackers!
