Snickerdoodles (satterly)
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c Shortening
- 1 1/2 c Sugar
- 4 ts White vinegar
- 2 c All purpose flour
- 2 ts Cream of tartar
- 1 ts Baking soda
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 1 tb Sugar
- 1 ts Cinnamon
Instructions:
Cream shortening & sugar for 30 seconds. Beat in the vinegar. Add flour tartar soda & salt. Mix well. Form into 1 inch balls & roll in the combined cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Posted by Mark Satterly in Intercook
