Oatmeal drop biscuits
Yield: 12 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c All-purpose flour
- 1 tb Baking powder
- 1/4 c Shortening
- 1 c Quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 ea Egg; beaten
- 1/3 c Milk
- 2 tb Honey
- 1/2 ts Salt
Instructions:
Stir thoroughly the flour baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Combine egg milk and honey; add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just till moistened. Drop b spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
