Oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies
Yield: 5 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c Flour (sifted)
- 1 ts Baking powder
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 ts Cinnamon
- 1/4 ts Nutmeg
- 3/4 c Shortening
- 1 c Brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 c Milk
- 1 c Chocolate chips
- 3 c Rolled oats
- 1 c Walnuts (chopped)
Instructions:
Sift first 5 ingredients (left to right) into bowl; add shortening brown sugar eggs and half the milk. Beat until smooth about 2 minutes; fold in remaining milk chocolate chips rolled oats and walnuts. Drop from teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet; bake in 375-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
