Crunchy almond bars
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 30 Graham crackers
- 2 c Almonds; sliced
- 1 c Butter
- 1 c Sugar; brown
Instructions:
packed Preheat oven to 375F. Line 15" X 10" rimmed baking sheet with graham wafers in a single layer. (There should be no gaps on the baking sheet) Sprinkle 1 cup almonds over graham crackers. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low and cook stirring about 3 minutes. (Do not cook longer or syrup will become harder). Pour over wafers spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining almonds on top. Bake in preheated oven 375F for about 8 minutes or till bubbly all over. Place baking sheet on wire rack. Cool 5 minutes.
