Apple-nut bread
Yield: 20 Servings --
Ingredients:
- 2 c Sugar
- 1 c Salad oil
- 4 Eggs; beaten
- 1/4 c Commercial sour cream
- 4 c All purpose flour
- 2 c Apples; peeled and chopped
- 2 ts Baking soda
- 1 c Pecans; chopped
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Vanilla
Instructions:
Gradually add sugar to eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture alternately with oil and sour cream beating well after each addition. Stir in apples pecans and vanilla. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350~ for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pans 5 minutes; turn out on wire racks to finish cooling.
