Harrow road cafe chocolate pound cake
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3 c Flour
- 3 c Sugar
- 1 c Cocoa
- 3 ts Baking powder
- 1/8 ts Salt
- 1 c Butter melted
- 1 1/2 c Milk
- 3 ts Vanilla
- 3 Eggs
- 1/4 c Cream
Instructions:
light Sift all the dry ingredients together. Make a well in center. Add the butter milk and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time alternating the cream beat well after each addition. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake in a 325 degree (F) oven for 1 1/4 hours. Cool on a rack and the remove from the pan.
