Oatmeal with fruit & nuts
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3 c Water
- 1/4 ts Salt Sm Apple chopped
- 2 tb Sliced Almonds
- 2 2/3 c Skim Milk
- 1/2 ts Ground Cinnamon
- 1 1/3 c Regular Rolled oats
- 1/4 c Pitted whole Dates snipped
- 1 tb Brown Sugar
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan combine water cinnamon and salt. Bring to boiling; stir in oats. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Let stand covered till of desired consistency. Divide oatmeal among 4 serving bowls. Top each bowl with chopped apple snipped dates sliced almonds and brown sugar.
