Baked apple doughnuts

Ingredients:
- 3 c Flour
- 3 1/2 ts Baking powder
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Nutmeg
- 1 c Shortening
- 2 Eggs -- beaten
- 1/2 c Milk
- 1 c Apples -- grated
- 1/2 c Chopped nuts
Instructions:
TOPPING: 1/2 c butter -- melted 1/2 c sugar 2 tsps cinnamon Mix flour baking powder sugar salt and nutmeg. Cut in shortening until mixture looks like crumbs. Add eggs milk apples nuts and mix thoroughly. Fill well greased tiny muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes. In a plastic bag mix sugar and cinnamon.
