Hamburger quiche
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 md Onion; chopped
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms; sliced
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Pepper
- 1 ts Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tb Biscuit mix
- 9" pastry shell
- 3 Eggs
- 1 c Creamed cottage cheese
Instructions:
Saute ground beef onion and 2/3's of the mushrooms in a skillet until the beef is well browned; drain off fat. Add salt pepper worcestershire sauce and biscuit mix to meat mixture; spread in pastry lined pan. Beat eggs lightly add cottage cheese and mix well. Pour over meat mixture and garnish with remaining mushrooms. Bake in 375~ oven for 1/2 hour. Serve the quiche hot.
