Ajam goreng djawa (fried chicken with spices)
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 ea Chicken frying; cut up
- 2 ea Chilies; split
- 1 ea Onion small; sliced
- 2 tb Coriander seed ground
- 1 tb Caraway seed ground
- 1 tb Turmeric
- 1 x Salt
- 2 tb Tamarind juice
- 2 tb Brown sugar
- 1 c Coconut milk
- 1 x Oil
Instructions:
Put chicken in a pan with all the ingredients except the oil. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 min. or until liquid has been absorbed. Heat oil and deep fry chicken until golden brown.
