Walnut penuche drops
Yield: 30 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c Light brown sugar packed
- 1/2 c Granulated sugar
- 1/4 c Light corn syrup
- 1/2 c Light cream
- 1 tb Butter
- 1 ts Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c Coarsely chopped walnuts
Instructions:
DIRECTIONS: Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan. Cook stirring until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water (238-F). (This takes 25 to 30 minutes.) Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Beat until blended; add walnuts and stir until coated. Drop quickly by dessert-spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
