Ham balls with brown sugar sauce

Ingredients:
- 3 c GROUND HAM (1 1/2 LBS.)
- 1 c QUICK COOKING OATS UNCOOKED
- 1/4 ts CINNAMON
- 1/4 ts GROUND CLOVES
- 2 ea LARGE EGGS SLIGHTLY BEATEN
- 1/2 c MILK
- 2 tb PREPARED MUSTARD
- 1/3 c BROWN SUGAR **
- 3 tb VINEGAR **
- 1 tb CORNSTARCH **
- 1/4 ts CINNAMON **
Instructions:
** INGREDIENTS USED IN SAUCE 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 F. 2. IN A LARGE BOWL WITH HANDS LIGHTLY MIX HAM BALL INGREDIENTS AND 1/4 TEASPOON PEPPER UNTIL COMBINED. SHAPE INTO 12 BALLS DIVIDING EVENLY. ARRANGE IN A SHALLOW PAN; BAKE UNCOVERED AT 400 F. FOR 15 MINUTES. 3. MEANWHILE MAKE THE SAUCE. IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN BRING THE BROWN SUGAR CINNAMON VINEGAR AND 1 1/2 CUPS WATER TO A BOIL. SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES. IN A SMALL DISH MIX CORNSTARCH WITH 1/4 CUP WATER UNTIL WELL BLENDED. STIR INTO SAUCE MIXTURE. BRING TO A BOIL STIRRING CONSTANTLY. SIMMER 1 MINUTE UNTIL THICKENED. POUR OVER HAM AND BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES LONGER. BASTE OCCASIONALLY WITH SAUCE MIXTURE. NOTE: SERVE WITH PARMESAN POTATOES FOR A COMPLETE MEAL (SEE VEGETABLES)
