Baked ham slice in sauterne
Yield: 8 Servings -Su
Ingredients:
- 2 lb Center cut ham slice
- 1/2 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
- 3 tb Cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c -Water
- 1 tb Margarine
- 1/2 c Raisins
- 1/2 c American sauterne; or other
Instructions:
-dry white wine Preheat oven to 350~. Place ham in a shallow baking pan. Set aside. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in water and margarine. Place over med-high heat and cook stirring constantly 5 mins. Remove pan from heat and stir in raisins and wine. Pour the mixture over ham. Bake uncovered 45 mins. or until tender.
