Quick fry chicken sandwich
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 2 tb Butter or margarine
- 1/4 ts EACH dill weed & salt Dash of pepper & garlic pwdr
- 4 Chicken breasts*
- 2/3 c Sour cream OR mayonnaise
- 3 oz Cream cheese
- 1/2 ts Dill weed
- 1 tb Lemon juice
- 4 Sandwich rolls
- 4 Lettuce leaves
- 8 Slices tomato
Instructions:
This is a speed-scratch recipe *Use boneless skinless chicken breast helves pounded thin. Melt butter in a skillet; stir in the 1/4 tsp dill and salt along with the pepper and garlic; add chicken and cook until browned on both sides. Meanwhile combine sourcream cheese 1/2 ts dill and juice. Spread cheese mixture over bottom half of rolls; top with lettuce tomato and cooked chicken. Top with remaining half of roll.
