Perfect apple butter
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients:
- 6 c Sweet apples peel and slice
- 1 c Apple cider
- 1 tb Ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
Place apples and cider in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Cook stirring frequently until mixture comes to a boil. Lower heat and simmer stirring frequently for about 1 hour or until apple slices have disintegrated and butter is thick. Remove from heat. Stir in cinnamon. Vacuum seal. Makes 4 1/2 pint jars.
