Herbed drumsticks
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c Butter or margarine
- 1 ts Dried tarragon leaves
- 2 ts Chopped chives
- 2 tb Chopped parsley Salt and pepper
- 8 Chicken drumsticks
Instructions:
1. In a shallow heat-resistant non-metallic baking dish melt butter in Microwave Oven 1 minute. 2. Add herbs and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. 3. Place drumsticks in baking dish and toss lightly to coat drum- sticks well with butter mixture. 4. Heat uncovered in Microwave Oven 14 minutes or until chicken is done. Turn drumsticks occasionally. Variation: If desired drumsticks can be partially cooked over charcoal then transferred to Microwave Oven to finish cooking. The Microwave cooking time would have to be adjusted because of the conventional cooking time.
