Deviled cornish hens
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 Cornish hens skin removed 1 tb Dijon mustard
- 2 tb Water 1/2 ts Hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 c Soy sauce 2 tb Vegetable oil
- 1/2 c Red wine 1/2 ts Pepper
- 1 tb Sherry extract 3 tb Dry bread crumbs
Instructions:
Split hens in half down the back. Place in a shallow pan. Combine remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and pour over hens. Marinate several hours turning occasionally. Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle half of the bread crumbs over hens. Bake 30 minutes. Turn hens sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake 30 minutes more. Per serving: 26g protein 14g fat 7g carb. 1546mg sodium 76mg chol. 275 calories.
