German spaghetti casserole
Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb Ground beef
- 4 sl Bacon cut lengthwise
- 1 lg Onion chopped Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 oz Tomato sauce
- 28 oz Can tomatoes drained chpd Juice reserved
- 1/3 c Sugar
- 1/2 lb Elbow spaghetti
Instructions:
cooked (macaroni?) Brown and drain hamburger. Lightly cook bacon; retain fat and cook onions until transparent. Salt and pepper hamburger to taste. Add bacon onion tomatoes and juice tomato sauce and sugar to hamburger. Simmer 30 minutes. Add cooked spaghetti. Put into large greased casserole and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
