Whole wheat grain oat bread - abm
Yield: 1 Loaf
Ingredients:
- 1 1/8 c Water at 105-110 degrees F
- 1 tb Butter or margarine
- 2 tb Molasses or honey
- 1 1/2 c Whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c White flour
- 1/2 c Rolled oats
- 3/4 c 7-grain cereal
- 1/4 c Nonfat dried milk powder
- 1 tb Sugar
- 1 ts Salt
- 3 tb Gluten
- 2 ts Yeast
Instructions:
Place ingredients in bread machine in order given (or in reverse order if your machine takes the dry ingredients first). To make in bread machine: process on whole wheat cycle. To bake in oven: process on dough cycle. Remove dough punch down and shape into loaf. Place in greased bread loaf pan and let rise until doubled about one hour. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes. Remove loaf to cool. Note: Instead of using 7 grain cereal you can use 8 grain 9 grain 12 grain etc. -- whatever is available where you shop. You can usually find this stuff in grocery stores where they have bins with grains flours etc. Option: Add 1/4 sunflower seeds.
