Pumpkin bread (from bobbi)
Yield: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 c White sugar
- 1/2 c Brown sugar
- 1/3 c Butter/margarine
- 2 ea Eggs
- 1 c Unbleached flour
- 2/3 c Whole wheat flour
- 1/3 c Apple juice
- 1 c Pumpkin puree
- 1/4 ts Baking powder
- 1 ts Baking soda
- 1/2 ts Cinnamon
- 1/4 ts Allspice
- 1/4 ts Cloves
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugars and butter together. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Mix the flours baking powder soda salt and spices. Add alternately to creamed mixture with cider and pumpking. Beat well. Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour until bread tests done. (Note from Bobbi: Lady who gave recipe to her usually baked for 45 minutes.)
