Fasnachtskiechli / carnival treats (basel)
Yield: 10 Servings
Ingredients:
- 10 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Grated lemon rind
- 1/2 dl Cream
- 50 g Butter (melted)
- 1 kg Flour
Instructions:
Mix well and roll out 1/2 cm thick. Cut out rounds and fry in deep fat (200 C). Dust with powdered sugar. E Guete! (More or less Switzerdeutsch for "Bon appetit!".)
