Peanut brittle - micro
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c White Karo Syrup
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 c Salted roasted Peanuts
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1 ts Butter
- 1 ts Baking Soda
Instructions:
Use 4 cup Pyrex Measuring cup & short handled wooden spoon - leave in while cooking. Mix Syrup and Sugar thoroughly. Micro 4 minutes High power Add Peanuts. Micro 3-5 minutes on High or until light brown usually takes at least 4 minutes - watch carefully. Add Vanilla and butter. Micro 1/2 - 1 minutes unless brown enough. Take out and sprinkle soda. Stir well as this makes syrup foamy. Pour on Teflon or well-greased cooking sheet spread very thin. Let cool and break apart.
